Marquetry Traditionally, the word „marquetry“ is associated with the cabinet making technique of inlaying various veneers upon a support in order to produce a picture which relief is given by the different hues and textures of the wood used to that effect. Contemporary Marquetry Hannes Bok’s abstract wooden pictures recall contemporary artists, but offer art amateurs a new look upon the use of wood as a matter für modern art.
